The creative, living forces inherent in music and speech are also latent in the form, proportions and musical-rhythmical nature of the entire human being. Eurythmy is an art of movement that awakens and cultivates this potential to develop a language of expressive movement and gesture whereby the whole human being becomes both player and instrument of a visible speech and visible singing that are in true concordance with ‘auditory’ speech and music.

Our Aim

The aim of this programme is to instruct the student in the fundamentals of eurythmy and to elicit their own creative, expressive potential for movement through eurythmy. This in turn will create opportunities to deepen the student’s appreciation and understanding of music and poetry, develop social sensitivity through choral moving with others and offer substance for inner development.
